Critical velocity (CV) is the maximal speed that you can maintain for a prolonged period of time. It is calculated from running at max speed at various distances (200m - 3000m).
This is perfect for runners who want to establish a baseline and track their progress overtime.
How it works
To complete this assessment, you’ll need access to a track or flat running area.
I’ll provide you with five specific distances to run.
You’ll perform each run at maximum effort and record your completion times.
Once you send me your times, I’ll calculate your critical velocity
Based on this calculation, I’ll provide your estimated race finish time to help guide your training and performance goals.
